i've digitized my whole cd library (see first post) and itunes is stuffed with more than 84 gb data at the moment. the way i "consume" music has changed and it's funny to find keith jarrett next to jay-z and wyclef jean or olive next to omar & the stringpoppers (in the video above rehearsing for the european tour).
i got a huge collection of early rhythm 'n' blues and it is kind of strange to listen to this music that is more than 60 years old on a device like the ipod.
sitting at home and feeding the mac mini and its companion the "my book" 300g harddrive with music. it's unbelievable how much money i must have spent on all these cds. its a good feeling to get rid of all the plastic garbage and to get some free space back in the living room.
